Lady Gaga left fans in awe when she revealed the bold outfit she had planned for the Met Gala's 'The Gardens of Time' theme. Gaga, who last attended the event in 2019 with her iconic "Camp" look, surprised everyone with her absence this year. While the reasons for her not attending remain unknown, she took to Instagram to share the outfit she would have worn, captioning the post, "THIS IS WHAT I WOULD HAVE WORN TO THE MET GALA. THE GIMP OF THE GARDEN 🖤."

The shared image featured an elaborate ensemble that perfectly matched the Met Gala’s theme and would have undoubtedly captured everyone's attention. Fortunately, Gaga didn't let the stunning look go to waste. She wore the AZIZ gown and a Philip Treacy mask to the world premiere fan screening of the Gaga Chromatica Ball last Thursday.

The all-black outfit was complemented by a white Selva look made from car parts, which she donned on the red carpet. However, the impracticality of the white attire led her to switch back to the black ensemble for the audience Q&A portion of the evening.

After posting the black outfit on Instagram, fans quickly expressed their admiration. Comments ranged from, "You would’ve ate everyone in that met gala," to "Mother is back on her weird s--t and I love it." The official Spotify account even chimed in, stating, "we were robbed 😭😭." Another fan summed up the general sentiment, calling it an "Obsession. Magnificent. Inspiration. Love you ❤️."

The Gaga Chromatica Ball continues to showcase her unique style and impressive vocals and is currently streaming on Max.
NEXT: Josef Newgarden wins the 108th Indianapolis 500 for Team Penske for the second straight year
Josef Newgarden clinched his second straight Indy 500 victory, narrowly defeating Pato O’Ward with a thrilling last-lap pass at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This win makes Newgarden the first driver to achieve back-to-back Indy 500 victories in 22 years, following Helio Castroneves’ consecutive wins for Team Penske in 2001-02. “I knew we could win again,” Newgarden said, expressing pride in his team's efforts and praising O’Ward’s clean driving. “It’s not just a good pass; it’s also someone you’re working with who’s incredibly clean. Hats off to Pato; he could have easily won this race.” This victory marks a record-extending 20th Indy 500 win for team owner Roger Penske. The race saw Newgarden and O’Ward exchange the lead four times in the last eight laps. O’Ward, who led for 12 laps, has now finished second twice in the last three Indy 500s and has led four consecutive races at the IMS oval. An emotional O’Ward shared his frustration with NBC Sports, stating, “So close again. So painful when you put so much into it and come up short.” Scott Dixon finished third, followed by Alexander Rossi and Alex Palou. Pole-sitter Scott McLaughlin placed sixth, with Kyle Kirkwood, Santino Ferrucci, Rinus VeeKay, and Conor Daly rounding out the top ten. Newgarden earned a $440,000 bonus from BorgWarner as a repeat winner. His team also found redemption after a disqualification at the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg for an illegal move. Despite some team suspensions, including key members like race strategist Tim Cindric, Newgarden felt extra motivation to win. “I’m just so proud of the team,” Newgarden said. “They crushed it with the fastest cars. Luke, Tim, they’re not here today, but they’re a huge part of this. Team Chevy brought it.” Kyle Larson finished 18th in his Indy 500 debut and then rushed to Charlotte Motor Speedway to participate in the Coca-Cola 600 after a rain delay. Marcus Ericsson, the 2022 Indy 500 winner, was involved in a Lap 1 crash. Other notable early exits included Colton Herta and Felix Rosenqvist due to mechanical issues and crashes. Newgarden’s victory was a testament to his skill and his team’s resilience, solidifying his status as a top competitor in the IndyCar series.
