TikTok star Ali Abulaban is on trial for the murder of his estranged wife, Ana Abulaban, and her friend, Rayburn Cardenas Barron. Abulaban detailed how he "snapped" and shot them after secretly setting up a recording device in their apartment, suspecting Ana of infidelity.

In court, Abulaban, who gained fame for his comedy skits and Scarface impressions, explained that he had been staying at a hotel while giving Ana "space." However, prosecutors argue that Ana had kicked him out after learning about his infidelity. The couple shared a daughter.

On the day of the murders, Abulaban sent groceries and roses to Ana, but felt her response was dismissive. High on cocaine, he went to their apartment, saw the roses crushed, and began recording audio, believing Ana might blackmail him. Hearing a man’s voice and Ana’s laughter on the recording, he rushed to the apartment, fearing she was with another man.

Upon arrival, he saw Ana and Barron on the couch. Feeling betrayed, he claims he "snapped" and shot them, describing it as an out-of-body experience. After the shooting, he questioned the reality of his actions, took a photo of the bodies, and called his parents and 911.

Abulaban faces two counts of first-degree murder but pleads not guilty, with his defense arguing he was mentally unstable at the time. The trial is ongoing.
NEXT: Celtics Dominate Game 2 with Brown's Performance, Haliburton's Injury Could Shift Series
The Celtics won Game 2 against the Pacers with a score of 126-110, leading the series 2-0 as they head to Indiana for Game 3. The key issue now is whether Pacers All-Star Tyrese Haliburton will play in the next game after re-aggravating his hamstring, an injury that previously sidelined him for 10 games in January. Pacers coach Rick Carlisle mentioned they would have more information on Haliburton’s condition by Saturday. Haliburton is crucial to the Pacers' fast-paced offense. Without him, especially against a strong Boston team in the Eastern Conference Finals, Indiana's chances look slim. The Pacers struggled both offensively and defensively, even with Haliburton on the court. In Game 2, Boston's strategy involved aggressive play and focusing on scoring in the paint, an area where they had the lowest percentage of points during the regular season. This tactic proved effective, as they scored 54 points in the paint compared to Indiana’s 34. The game swung decisively in Boston’s favor during a 17-0 run at the start of the second quarter, pushing their lead to 15 points. Jaylen Brown shone, scoring 24 points in the first half, while Jayson Tatum had a slow start but finished with 23 points. Derrick White also contributed significantly with 23 points. Despite strong performances from Indiana’s Pascal Siakam, who scored 28 points, and a push in the third quarter, Boston maintained control. The Celtics shot an impressive 16-of-22 in the third quarter and ended it leading 93-80. With Haliburton out, the Pacers couldn't mount a comeback in the fourth quarter. The main question for the Pacers now is whether Haliburton will be fit to play and help turn the series around. Would you like me to remember the key details about the game and Haliburton's injury for future reference?
